Almost a decade after we’ve seen them pull off their last magical heist, the Four Horsemen are finally gearing up for their grand return. The first trailer for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t sees them trying to pull off their most epic trick yet with a new generation of young illusionists.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t will reunite us with Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Isla Fisher, who are set to return as the Four Horsemen. The third film in the franchise will see them joining forces with a new generation of illusionists performing mind-melding twists and turns, while trying to pull off their most elaborate heist yet.

In addition to the four leads, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t will also mark the return of  Morgan Freeman. They’ll be joined by several newcomers to the franchise, including Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt, and Rosamund Pike, who’ll play the film’s main villain.

The fourth film in the Now You See Me series is already on the way. Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson confirmed the news at CinemaCon and said they’re thrilled to be making even more magic alongside Ruben Fleischer, who’ll return as a director.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t will premiere in theaters on November 14.

The Season 3 finale of Heartstopper left us wondering what the future holds for Nick and Charlie, and we’ll soon get all the answers we’re looking for. The beloved coming-of-age series won’t come back for Season 4, but Netflix is planning to give it an ending it deserves in the form of a feature-length film.

Alice Oseman, the writer of the original Heartstopper graphic novels and the creator of its Netflix adaptation, said she’s “completely overjoyed” to get a chance to tell the end of this story. She expressed gratitude to everyone who worked hard to make this happen and thanked the fans for their patience and passion.

The Heartstopper film will take place after the events of Season 3, and it will explore how inevitable milestones affect the maturing characters. Nick and Charlie will have to navigate the reality of a long-distance relationship and confront the bittersweet challenges of growing up and moving on with the rest of their friends.

Kit Connor and Joe Locke are returning as Nick and Charlie, in addition to being credited as executive producers of the final Heartstopper film. The ensemble cast of the original series also included Yasmin Finney, Tobie Donovan, Jenny Walser, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Rhea Norwood, and Olivia Colman.

If you’re a sucker for a good rom-com with a star-studded cast, Celine Song’s Materialists is here to rock your world. A24 finally released the first trailer for this highly-anticipated film, which sees Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal navigating a complicated love triangle.

Johnson leads Materialists as Lucy, a modern-day matchmaker, whose professional life grows complicated after she finds herself stuck in a love triangle between two very different men. While attending a client’s wedding, she meets a charming millionaire (Pascal), while also running into her imperfect, struggling ex (Evans).

In addition to the leading trio, the cast of Materialists also includes Zoë Winters, Marin Ireland, Dasha Nekrasova, Louisa Jacobson, Sawyer Spielberg, Eddie Cahill, and Fernando Belo in supporting roles.

Materialists is the sophomore film of the acclaimed director Celine Song, who got her big break with her debut feature Past Lives. This romance drama was met with rave reviews and received numerous accolades, in addition to being nominated for best picture and best original screenplay at the Academy Awards.

Materialists will be released in the United States by A24 on June 13, while Sony Pictures will release it internationally, after securing an eight-figure distribution deal with the studio.

We can count on each season of The White Lotus to take us on one wild, lavish adventure and its next chapter will be no different. The first teaser trailer for Season 3 hit the shelves ahead of its release in February, and it sees a new group of guests having the time of their lives at the White Lotus resort in Thailand.

Season 3 trailer marks the return of Belinda Lindsey (Natasha Rothwell), the spa manager from the Hawaiian resort who’s on an exchange program in Thailand. It also introduces us to new employees and guests of the Thai resort, ranging from three friends on a girls’ trip to a rugged man vacationing with his free-spirited girlfriend.

Rothwell is the only returning cast member reprising her role in Season 3, and she’ll be joined by Parker Posey, Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb, Tayme Thapthimthong, Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Francesca Corney, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sam Nivola, and Blackpink’s Lisa.

Season 3 of The White Lotus will premiere on HBO on February 16, 2025, and it will feature eight episodes airing weekly before streaming on Max. Mike White serves as creator and writer of the next season, and he described it as “longer, bigger, crazier” than the previous two.

How to Train Your Dragon is the latest animated classic getting the live-action treatment, and we finally know what to expect from it. Hiccup and Toothless return in the first trailer for this long-awaited remake, which marks the first live-action version of a DreamWorks Animation film.

Loosely based on Cressida Cowell’s series of novels, How to Train Your Dragon takes place on the rugged isle of Berk, and centers on a Hiccup, the inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast. He defies centuries-old rivalry between Vikings and dragons by developing an unlikely bond with a feared Night Fury dragon named Toothless.

Mason Thames will play the lead role in this live-action adaptation, which also stars Nico Parker, Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, Bronwyn James, Harry Trevaldwyn, Ruth Codd, and Gerard Butler, reprising his role from the animated films.

Dean DeBlois returned as the director of this live-action remake after helming the animated film trilogy. In addition to three films, the How to Train Your Dragon franchise also includes several short films and TV series, including DreamWorks Dragons, Rescue Riders, and The Nine Realms.

How to Train Your Dragon is the first live-action film produced by DreamWorks Animation, and it will be released by Universal Pictures on June 13, 2025.

Nobody Wants This explores the concept of unconventional relationships through the story of the brash dating podcaster Joanne and a rookie rabbi Noah. She brought her number of total video of the year wins to five after “Fortnight” defeated tough competition in Ariana Grande’s “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)”, Billie Eilish’s “Lunch”, Doja Cat’s “Paint the Town Red”, Eminem’s “Houdini”, and SZA’s “Snooze”.

This song failed to repeat its success in the song of the year category, where Sabrina Carpenter won her first Moon Person for “Espresso”. In addition to “Fortnight”, Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em”, Jack Harlow’s “Lovin on Me”, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”, and Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” were also in the running for this coveted award.

Despite this loss, “Fortnight” was still the night’s most-awarded song, and it also won song of the year, best collaboration, best editing, and best direction. Swift was named the artist of the year, in addition to winning the award for best pop.

The 2024 MTV VMAs took place on September 11 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, with Megan Thee Stallion making her debut as a host.

Taylor Swift is no stranger to dominating the MTV Video Music Awards, and she’s getting ready to do it again. The list of the MTV VMAs nominations is in, and Swift is leading the way with ten nods alongside her “Fortnight” collaborator Post Malone.

Taylor Swift and Post Malone scored a nomination for the video of the year with “Fortnight”, but they’ll have to beat tough competition to take it home. Ariana Grande’s “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)”, Billie Eilish’s “Lunch”, Doja Cat’s “Paint the Town Red”, Eminem’s “Houdini”, and SZA’s “Snooze” are also in the running for this accolade.

There’s usually a lot of overlap between video and song of the year, but “Fortnight” is the only song nominated in both categories this year.“Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em”, Jack Harlow’s “Lovin on Me”, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”, Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso”, and Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” also scored nominations for song of the year.

In addition to Taylor Swift with ten nominations and Post Malone with nine, the list of front-runners at this year’s MTV VMAs will include Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, and Eminem with six nods apiece, plus Megan Thee Stallion and SZA with five each.

The 2024 MTV VMAs winners will be announced on September 10 at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
