Apple TV+ Gives “The Morning Show” an Early Season 4 Renewal

The Morning Show ushered in a whole new era for Apple TV+, and its future on this streaming service is looking bright. The acclaimed drama starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon has been renewed for another season ahead of the Season 3 debut.

The duo’s contracts were up at the end of the upcoming third season, but they’re now in talks with Apple TV+ to extend them and potentially come back for Season 5, as well. This doesn’t come as a huge surprise, since Aniston and Witherspoon both repeatedly talked about how much they enjoy filming this series.

“It’s such a pleasant set to be on. We love to communicate. We love to work stuff out, and we don’t just shove stuff under the rug. There’s no stone left unturned in a creative decision. We all put our heads together,” Aniston told Variety last year.

The first two seasons were also led by Steve Carell, but he’s not expected to return after his character’s story was wrapped up in Season 2. Mark Duplass, Billy Crudup, and Karen Pittman will reprise their roles, with Jon Hamm, Stephen Fry, Tig Notaro, and Nicole Beharie joining the cast.

The Morning Show will return to Apple TV+ this fall, and the streamer is yet to officially announced the release date for Season 3.
