2023 Gotham Awards: “All Of Us Strangers”, “Past Lives”, & “Beef” Among Top Contenders

If award season happens to be your favorite time of the year, we’ve got some good news for you! Things are slowly heating up, and Gotham Awards are one of the first major ceremonies to unveil their list of nominees, led by All Of Us Strangers, Past Lives, and Beef.

The British romantic drama All Of Us Strangers will be in the running for four awards this year, including best international feature. It will have to face tough competition in Anatomy of a Fall, Poor Things, The Zone of Interest, and Tótem in this category. Its screenwriter Andrew Haigh and stars Andrew Scott and Claire Foy also received nods for their work on this film.

As for Past Lives, this movie will have to beat Passages, Reality, Showing Up, and A Thousand and One to collect the ceremony’s main award: best feature. It’s also been nominated in two additional categories: breakthrough director (Celine Song) and outstanding lead performance (Greta Lee).

Gotham Awards will also honor some of the best TV shows of the past year, starting with Netflix’s Beef, which is the only show to secure three nods this year. I’m A Virgo, Swarm, Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, Dead Ringers, The Last of Us, A Small Light, and The English are right behind with two each.
