What Nolan Gould A.K.A Luke Dunphy Took Home from the Set of “Modern Family”

It’s an open secret that actors tend to “steal” keepsakes from the set when the filming has wrapped. And since the long-running hit mockumentary series Modern Family has finished, we’re pretty sure the cast is “taking care” of some of the props used in the show. They did, after all, just spend more than 10 years playing their characters on set. Naturally, they’d want to keep some items to remember their time by.

It looks like Nolan Gould, the actor who played Luke Dunphy, who got the holy grail when it comes to Modern Family, props. For one thing, he admits that he took multiple items from the set. But, there was one particular item that he thought was the most important to have – the fake fruit bowl.

It’s probably seen at least once in every episode of the show as it’s just sitting there in the kitchen the whole time. The best thing about it is that it was never changed over the course of the show. “It just clearly got thrown there in the pilot because we were like, ‘We need some, some fruit or some color splash in it,’” Gould said. “And then, nobody took it out. And it just kind of stayed for 11 years, unexplained why they have this tacky fake fruit bowl.” He said in an interview. In a way, the fruit bowl was witness to the growth of the Dunphys and the actors that played them.
