Winslet’s kids were taken out of harm’s way and got out safely. After seeing this, Winslet rushed back inside to carry Branson’s mother, 90 years old at the time, to safety.

Many don’t realize how much of a real-life hero Steve Buscemi is. After 9/11, he reunited with his old firefighting unit to volunteer downtown in the aftermath. Buscemi cleared rubble and searched for any survivors. Buscemi wears a superhero uniform, in the form of a firefighter’s outfit. During the wake of Hurricane Sandy, he would also return to help out alongside his old unit.

“I’m really talking about poop out here,” said Eilish in her Pitchfork interview. “It’s really about your diet because you can have miserable poops. People who don’t like pooping are probably people who eat like [expletive].”

Eilish said that she used to suck on metals and pennies to address her iron deficiency. Now, she takes supplements to fill her iron needs. 

“I think my mom gives me iron pills or some [expletive]… She’s nodding her head over there,” she said in her interview.

Also, iron can in fact be found in many plant-based foods. Dark leafy greens, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and beans are all vegan-friendly iron-rich foods.

But more than pooping, Eilish’s decision to go vegan is due to her advocacy for animal welfare. The 17-year old chose to go vegan in 2014, citing that her reasons include animal rights. 

“I keep my mouth shut most of the time about this because I believe everyone should do, eat, and say whatever they want… and I don’t feel the need to shove what I believe in anyone’s face. But man… if you can watch the videos that I just posted and not give a [expletive] that it’s YOU contributing by LITERALLY EATING the creatures that are being fully tortured just for your pleasure. I feel sorry for you.” 

This was part of Eilish’ post on her Instagram stories June of last year when she posted undercover footage of animal cruelty on a dairy farm. In the video, dairy farmworkers were shown beating and dragging calves around the farm. They were force-fed and beaten when they struggle, hit with branding irons, and squeezed into packed trucks for slaughter. Mounds of dead calves hidden around the farm were also revealed in the videos. The footage was taken in Fair Oaks Farms, a dairy farm that supplies cow’s milk to Fairlife, which is a subsidiary of Coca-Cola.

Eilish believes that together, every person’s efforts will make a positive impact on the animal’s rights. “Help the world. I try,” Eilish wrote on her Instagram for the 10th anniversary of the Meat-Free Monday campaign.
