He delivered another nostalgic halftime show performance, following in the footsteps of Rihanna, and hip-hop stars Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.
Usher’s performance started off amazing, with “My Way” serving as an intro, and only got better from that point on. The crowd went wild once Alicia Keys joined him on stage, with amazing new takes of “If I Ain’t Got You” and “My Boo”.
Keys wasn’t the only special guest joining Usher on Sunday night, and she was soon followed H.E.R. and will.i.am. Lil Jon and Ludacris were there for the grand finale and helped Usher hypnotize the crowd with the epic rendition of his smash hit “Yeah!”
Usher headlined Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada on February 11, which saw the Kansas City Chiefs win their second consecutive Super Bowl title.

]]>The R&B singer, who gave us nine no. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 such as “Yeah!” and “Burn”, said it’s an honor of a lifetime to serve as the halftime show headliner. He announced his headlining spot with a series of funny clips featuring the likes of Kim Kardashian, Deion Sanders, Marshawn Lynch, and Odell Beckham Jr.
Jay-Z, who’s been producing the Super Bowl halftime show with Roc Nation since 2019, described Usher as the ultimate artist and showman and said he’s looking forward to his performance.
“Ever since his debut at the age of 15, he’s been charting his own unique course. Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul. His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can’t wait to see the magic,” said Jay-Z in a statement.
The Super Bowl LVIII is scheduled to take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11, 2024, and User is planning to release his new album Coming Home on the same day.

Rihanna’s 13-minute performance included a total of 12 songs, ranging from “We Found Love” and “Rude Boy” to “Umbrella” and “Diamonds”, which closed the show. The singer previously discussed the show with Apple Music and said that choosing the setlist was the show’s biggest challenge.
“You only have 13 minutes, that’s the challenge, so you’re trying to cram 17 years of work into 13 minutes. It’s difficult – some songs we’ve had to lose because of that and that’s going to be OK. But I think we did a pretty good job at narrowing it down,” she explained.

She posted a photo of herself holding an NFL football, which was later reposted on the NFL’s social media channels and followed by official confirmation.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rihanna to the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show stage. Rihanna is a once-in-a-generation artist who has been a cultural force throughout her career,” said Seth Dudowsky, NFL head of music, in a statement.
The NFL will join forces with Roc Nation and Apple Music for this halftime show performance, which marks a major turning point for the Super Bowl. The upcoming halftime show will be the first since 2013 not to be sponsored by the NFL’s long-time partner Pepsi.
The Super Bowl LVII will take place on February 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Rihanna is the first solo female headliner since Lady Gaga in 2017, and she’s following in the footsteps of the hip-hop greats Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J.
