Midnights was crowned the album of the year winner at this year’s Grammys, transforming Swift into the first solo artist to win this award four times. Her acceptance speech was full of surprises, and she used it to tease the release of her next album The Tortured Poets Department, set to be released on April 19.

As for the rest of the big four categories, Miley Cyrus won the record of the year Grammy with “Flowers”, but failed to repeat her success in the song of the year field, where the trophy went to Billie Eilish for “What Was I Made For?”. Victoria Monét rounded out the list of winners with the best new artist Grammy.

It was also a big night for Phoebe Bridgers, who was the only artist to walk away with four Grammys this year, including three with Boygenius. In addition to this indie supergroup, SZA, Victoria Monét, and Killer Mike also collected three trophies each.

The 2024 Grammy Awards were held on February 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in LA, with Trevor Noah hosting the festivities for the fourth consecutive year.

SZA impressed critics and fans alike with her sophomore LP SOS, and she’s finally repeating the fruits of her labor. SOS is competing for album of the year, along with Taylor Swift’s Midnights, Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts, Janelle Monáe’s The Age of Pleasure, Miley Cyrus’ Endless Summer Vacation, Lana Del Rey’s Ocean Blvd, Boygenius’s The Record, and Jon Batiste’s World Music Radio.

The album’s biggest hit “Kill Bill” is one of the main contenders for both song and record of the year. The competition in these categories is pretty stiff because Swift’s “Anti-Hero”, Rodrigo’s “Vampire”, Cyrus’ “Flowers”, Batiste’s “Butterfly”, and Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” also made the cut.

The list of major contenders at the upcoming Grammys will also include Victoria Monét, Phoebe Bridgers, and Serban Ghenea with seven nods apiece. Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, Brandy Clark, Boygenius, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift are right behind with six nominations each.

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards are scheduled for February 4, 2024, and they’ll be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+ from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Beyoncé topped the list of this year’s Grammy nominations with a total of nine nods, and managed to win in four categories: best dance/electronic recording (“Break My Soul”), best dance/electronic album (Renaissance), best traditional R&B performance (“Plastic Off the Sofa”) and best R&B song (“Cuff It”).

Beyoncé once again missed out on the album of the year award, this time to Harry Styles, who came out victorious thanks to Harry’s House. Lizzo defeated them both in the record of the year category, and collected this award with “About Damn Time”.

Bonnie Raitt delivered one of the night’s biggest shockers when she collected the song of the year award with “Just Like That”, beating the likes of Lizzo, Adele, and Taylor Swift. It was also quite surprising to see the jazz singer Samara Joy win the best new artist award.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards were held on February 5, with Trevor Noah returning as a host for the third year in a row.

The field for the album of the year is pretty crowded this year, and it includes Beyoncé’s Renaissance, Lamar’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, Styles’ Harry’s House, Adele’s 30, and Carlile’s In These Silent Days. Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti and Lizzo’s Special are also in the running for the night’s biggest honor.

Many of the artists competing for the album of the year are also the main contenders for the song and record of the year. The list of nominees in both categories includes Adele’s “Easy on Me”, Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul”, Harry Styles’ “As It Was”, Lizzo’s “About Damn Time”, and Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Part 5”.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 5, 2023, with the ceremony returning to the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. CBS and Paramount+ are in charge of the live broadcast, and they’re yet to announce the show’s host.

Drake withdrew his album “Certified Lover Boy” from Grammy consideration last year and his criticism of the Recording Academy continues. He didn’t submit his latest album Honestly, Nevermind for consideration either.

The Weekend decided to boycott the Grammys after his seminal album After Hours shockingly received zero nominations. He’s making good on his promise, and he refused to submit his latest record Dawn FM for Grammy consideration.

There doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between Silk Sonic and the Grammys, but they won’t be competing at the next year’s ceremony. After winning four Grammy trophies this year, the musical duo announced they’re withdrawing from award consideration.

Midnights was crowned the album of the year winner at this year’s Grammys, transforming Swift into the first solo artist to win this award four times. Her acceptance speech was full of surprises, and she used it to tease the release of her next album The Tortured Poets Department, set to be released on April 19.

As for the rest of the big four categories, Miley Cyrus won the record of the year Grammy with “Flowers”, but failed to repeat her success in the song of the year field, where the trophy went to Billie Eilish for “What Was I Made For?”. Victoria Monét rounded out the list of winners with the best new artist Grammy.

It was also a big night for Phoebe Bridgers, who was the only artist to walk away with four Grammys this year, including three with Boygenius. In addition to this indie supergroup, SZA, Victoria Monét, and Killer Mike also collected three trophies each.

The 2024 Grammy Awards were held on February 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in LA, with Trevor Noah hosting the festivities for the fourth consecutive year.

SZA impressed critics and fans alike with her sophomore LP SOS, and she’s finally repeating the fruits of her labor. SOS is competing for album of the year, along with Taylor Swift’s Midnights, Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts, Janelle Monáe’s The Age of Pleasure, Miley Cyrus’ Endless Summer Vacation, Lana Del Rey’s Ocean Blvd, Boygenius’s The Record, and Jon Batiste’s World Music Radio.

The album’s biggest hit “Kill Bill” is one of the main contenders for both song and record of the year. The competition in these categories is pretty stiff because Swift’s “Anti-Hero”, Rodrigo’s “Vampire”, Cyrus’ “Flowers”, Batiste’s “Butterfly”, and Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” also made the cut.

The list of major contenders at the upcoming Grammys will also include Victoria Monét, Phoebe Bridgers, and Serban Ghenea with seven nods apiece. Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, Brandy Clark, Boygenius, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift are right behind with six nominations each.

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards are scheduled for February 4, 2024, and they’ll be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+ from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Beyoncé topped the list of this year’s Grammy nominations with a total of nine nods, and managed to win in four categories: best dance/electronic recording (“Break My Soul”), best dance/electronic album (Renaissance), best traditional R&B performance (“Plastic Off the Sofa”) and best R&B song (“Cuff It”).

Beyoncé once again missed out on the album of the year award, this time to Harry Styles, who came out victorious thanks to Harry’s House. Lizzo defeated them both in the record of the year category, and collected this award with “About Damn Time”.

Bonnie Raitt delivered one of the night’s biggest shockers when she collected the song of the year award with “Just Like That”, beating the likes of Lizzo, Adele, and Taylor Swift. It was also quite surprising to see the jazz singer Samara Joy win the best new artist award.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards were held on February 5, with Trevor Noah returning as a host for the third year in a row.

The field for the album of the year is pretty crowded this year, and it includes Beyoncé’s Renaissance, Lamar’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, Styles’ Harry’s House, Adele’s 30, and Carlile’s In These Silent Days. Many of the artists competing for the album of the year are also the main contenders for the song and record of the year. The list of nominees in both categories includes Adele’s “Easy on Me”, Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul”, Harry Styles’ “As It Was”, Lizzo’s “About Damn Time”, and Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Part 5”.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 5, 2023, with the ceremony returning to the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. CBS and Paramount+ are in charge of the live broadcast, and they’re yet to announce the show’s host.

We get at least one star feuding with the Grammys over wrong category inclusion. This time around, it’s Nicki Minaj, who believes her song “Super Freaky Girl” should be nominated in rap and not pop categories, where it was classified by the Grammy bosses.

Drake

Drake withdrew his album “Certified Lover Boy” from Grammy consideration last year and his criticism of the Recording Academy continues. He didn’t submit his latest album Honestly, Nevermind for consideration either.

The Weekend

The Weekend decided to boycott the Grammys after his seminal album After Hours shockingly received zero nominations. He’s making good on his promise, and he refused to submit his latest record Dawn FM for Grammy consideration.

Silk Sonic

There doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between Silk Sonic and the Grammys, but they won’t be competing at the next year’s ceremony. After winning four Grammy trophies this year, the musical duo announced they’re withdrawing from award consideration.
