With 13 No. 1 albums in the United States, Drake is just one LP away from tying Jay-Z with 14 chart-topping albums, but he’s still trailing far behind The Beatles with 19 No. 1 entries.
As for Drake’s success on the Billboard Hot 100, “First Person Shooter” ft. J. Cole became his 13th song to top this chart. By doing so, the Canadian rapper tied with Michael Jackson for the most No. 1 songs among solo male artists, but he’s still behind Rihanna (14), Mariah Carey (19), and The Beatles (20).
All 23 songs from For All the Dogs entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, bringing Drake’s total to 320 entries, making him the first artist in history to pass the 300-song mark. He also holds records for most No. 1 debuts (nine), top five hits (41), top 10 hits (76), top 20 hits (132), and top 40 hits (199).

]]>We get at least one star feuding with the Grammys over wrong category inclusion. This time around, it’s Nicki Minaj, who believes her song “Super Freaky Girl” should be nominated in rap and not pop categories, where it was classified by the Grammy bosses.
Drake withdrew his album “Certified Lover Boy” from Grammy consideration last year and his criticism of the Recording Academy continues. He didn’t submit his latest album Honestly, Nevermind for consideration either.
The Weekend decided to boycott the Grammys after his seminal album After Hours shockingly received zero nominations. He’s making good on his promise, and he refused to submit his latest record Dawn FM for Grammy consideration.
There doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between Silk Sonic and the Grammys, but they won’t be competing at the next year’s ceremony. After winning four Grammy trophies this year, the musical duo announced they’re withdrawing from award consideration.
