“Wednesday” is Coming to Netflix & the Official Trailer Just Revealed Some New Faced

The spooky season is finally here, and that means only one thing. Horror and fantasy genre will be ruling popular culture with an iron fist, and Wednesday is one of the most exciting new shows that fall under this category. Netflix just dropped a new trailer for this series, and here’s everything you should know ahead of its premiere this fall.

Premise and Logline

Wednesday hails from the mind of Tim Burton, who co-created the show with Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. The show will chronicle Wednesday Addams’ years at Nevermore Academy, where she has to deal with her emerging psychic ability, a mysterious killing spree, and the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago.

Amazing Cast

Jenna Ortega is set to portray the teenage Wednesday Addams, and she’ll be in pretty good company. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Isaac Ordonez play Morticia, Gomez, and Pugsley Addams. The new trailer also shows Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester and Gwendoline Christie as principal Larissa Weems. Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday Addams back in the 90s, appears as an original character named Marilyn Thornhill.

Release Date

We’ll have to wait for over a month to finally watch Wednesday since it’s coming to Netflix on November 2, and it will feature a total of eight episodes.
