Warren Beatty & Shirley MacLaine
Despite not having the same last name, Warren Beatty and Shirley MacLaine are brother and sister. Their surname as they were born with is actually Beaty. Warren added an extra “t” while Shirley took her middle name MacLean and fashioned it into a new last name.
MacLaine is three years older and found success in the 50s while Warren was still doing TV, and they both became among the top stars of their day.
Jonah Hill & Beanie Feldstein
Not many realize that Beanie Feldstein, who made her film debut in Neighbors 2 and went on to appear in Lady Bird and star in Book Smart, is actually the sister of Jonah Hill. Jonah’s birth name is Jonah Hill Feldstein, and he is ten years older.
It is nice to see the little sister following in the big brother’s footsteps, and she definitely has his charm and comic chops.
Jesse & Hallie Eisenberg
If you watch ads for Pepsi from the late 90s and early 2000s, you’ll see Hallie Eisenberg, who also is in Paulie and Bicentennial Man. It turns out that she is the little sister of none other than Jesse Eisenberg.
Hallie was famous before her now more famous brother, and she doesn’t act much anymore, but she did appear in 2010’s Holy Rollers with her brother.
Jason & Justine Bateman
Not many realize that Arrested Development, Juno, and Ozark star Jason Bateman has a famous older sister whose career bloomed early when she played Mallory Keaton on Family Ties in the 80s.
For those in the know, Justine’s appearance on Arrested Development was much appreciated, as it hinted at their real-life brother-sister relationship, and it was even called “Family Ties.”
